Missouri’s farms shouldn’t be a testing ground for an out-of-state activist wish list. Livestock bans and sweeping new restrictions on agriculture can put the farms that feed us at risk. Missouri families would be left living with the consequences.
A slick ad campaign can make a bad idea sound good. If new restrictions on agriculture pass through the initiative process, Amendment 6 would make it harder for Missourians to reconsider. Missourians should be able to fix a law that hurts the farms we depend on, even after the campaign ads stop running.
