Election Night 2025: A Wake-Up Call for Missouri Families — Amendment 3 Is Now Do-or-Die
The ballots are counted and the message is clear. The radical left just made big gains in Virginia, New Jersey, New York City, and other key races. These were not wins for “moderates.” They were wins for activists pushing gender ideology and abortion on demand.
For Missouri families, this is not just news from another state. It is a warning. If we do not take tonight seriously, we will be next. Amendment 3 in 2026 is not just important. It is our line in the sand.
What Happened Last Night
Virginia: A Democrat who avoided every question about boys in girls’ sports just won the governor’s race. The Republican talked about protecting kids and women, but low turnout and nonstop smear ads drowned him out.
New Jersey: The Democrat governor, backed by LGBTQ+ lobby groups, held on to power by promising “healthcare access,” which means taxpayer funded puberty blockers and gender surgeries for minors.
New York City: Early returns show a socialist candidate leading the mayor’s race. His plan is gender affirming care in every school clinic.
None of these races were random. They were fueled by out of state money, anti Trump anger, and targeted messaging meant to scare parents into silence. The same playbook is already headed for Missouri.
Why It Matters Here
Missouri is not Virginia, but we are not immune. Tonight proves that when we stay quiet, the left wins by default.
Our current law protecting kids expires in 2027.
Amendment 3 makes those protections permanent. It repeals the 2024 abortion amendment, restores real pro life laws, and bans puberty blockers, cross sex hormones, and surgeries for anyone under 18.
No loopholes. No activist judges. No rebranding it as “care.”
A Cole County judge has already cleared the ballot language. The ACLU and Planned Parenthood are raising money right now to defeat it. And after tonight, they think they can win.
What Tonight Taught Us
Complacency kills movements.
In Virginia, good people assumed “common sense” would win. It did not. Their opponents out spent, out organized, and out messaged them. Missouri cannot afford that mistake.
To win Amendment 3, we need:
More doors knocked. Every precinct, every week.
More donors. Every dollar helps fight back against national money pouring in.
More turnout. 2026 must be bigger than 2024, period.
