The Gender Cult Is No Laughing Matter
For years, the most powerful men in newsrooms, comedy clubs, and broadcasting booths treated the transgender takeover as a big joke. A “silly little culture-war sideshow.” Something to eye-roll, smirk at, or simply ignore while the adults talked about real issues.
They were wrong. Dead wrong.
And while they snickered, the ideology marched through every institution: schools, hospitals, prisons, sports, and—most horrifically—children’s bodies.
A blistering new essay in Spiked lays bare the cowardice: male journalists and comedians, the very people whose job is to ask hard questions, instead dismissed the entire issue as beneath them. They mocked concerned mothers as “TERFs, (Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminist)” dismissed whistle-blowers as “bigots,” and refused to look at the mounting evidence of a bonafide medical scandal. The result? Thousands of autistic, troubled, and traumatized teens in America have been sterilized and surgically altered. And Missouri children are now one court ruling away from the same fate.
This is no longer a punchline. It is an assault on common sense, on womanhood, and on childhood itself.
The Cost of Male Complacency
While media men shrugged, the gender cult:
Convinced lawmakers that biology is a hate crime
Convinced doctors that mastectomies on healthy 14-year-old girls are “life-saving”
Convinced teachers that secrecy from parents is “affirming”
Convinced prisons that housing rapists in women’s cells is “inclusive”
And every time a concerned citizen raised the alarm, the loudest voices in the room—almost always male—rolled their eyes and changed the subject.
The Spiked piece is brutal but accurate: Men avoided the fight because it felt icky, complicated, and vaguely embarrassing. They assumed it would burn itself out. It didn’t. It metastasized.
Missouri Is Not Immune
We are living the consequences right now.
The 2024 “reproductive freedom” amendment didn’t just open the abortion floodgates; it created a legal fog that clinics are already exploiting to push puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones on minors. Our SAFE Act ban expires in 2027. Without Amendment 3, the same ideology that British doctors now call “a medical scandal” will be fully legal—and taxpayer-subsidized—in the Show-Me State.
This is not theoretical. It is not a “culture war distraction.” It is the deliberate, institutionalized mutilation of children and the erasure of women.
And it happened because too many people treated it like a joke.

Missouri fathers, pastors, coaches, teachers, legislators: Your silence is no longer neutral. It is complicity.
Amendment 3 is the line in the sand:
Permanently bans puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and sex-change surgeries on anyone under 18
Repeals the 2024 amendment’s extremism
Restores truth, safety, and parental rights
This is not politics. This is the protection of childhood itself.
