The Hidden Violence: Women Drugged With Abortion Pills
Disturbing stories are emerging of women who were secretly given abortion pills without their knowledge. In Texas a woman says her boyfriend slipped drugs into her drink. In Illinois a man was charged after his girlfriend lost her baby. In Houston a husband was convicted for repeatedly poisoning his wife’s drinks. In some cases children survived but now suffer lasting health problems.
This is not just abuse. It is assault against both mother and child. Women describe shock, betrayal, and deep grief. Yet these cases are becoming more possible because the FDA weakened safeguards, allowing abortion pills to be mailed or picked up at local pharmacies with little oversight. That decision made it easier for abusers to get the drugs they need to commit these crimes.
Coercion already surrounds many abortions. Studies show women often feel pressured by partners or family members. Now, with pills available on demand, too many women are robbed of even knowing what happened until it is too late.
Missouri must act. Amendment 3 will remove the pro abortion language forced into our constitution in 2024, restore protections for mothers and their unborn children, and permanently ban transgender surgeries and chemical castration for minors. It is a clear stand for life, safety, and dignity.
No mother should ever be drugged into losing her child. Missouri must protect women, hold abusers accountable, and pass laws that value life. Join us. Stand for life. Support Amendment 3. Because Missouri protects.
